Spread Fun, Not Germs!!!!!!!

Some reminders to keep you and your fellow attendees? convention experience healthier this flu season:

1. Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. And NOT with your bare hand ? that?s one of the easiest, grossest ways to spread germs.
2. Always carry tissues with you to catch said cough or sneeze, and dispose of used tissues as quickly as possible.
3. Clean your hands often, being especially sure to do so after coughing/sneezing & before eating. Frequent hand-washing is a must, and it?s also a good idea to carry a bottle of hand sanitizer with you at all times.
4. If you are sick, STAY HOME. Yes, missing a con sucks, but making yourself sicker & infecting people around you sucks worse. Not to mention if someone knows YOU gave them con crud at one event, the odds go way down they?ll even talk to you at the next one.
5. It’s always important to remember the 5-2-1 rule (at least 5 hours of sleep, 2 well balanced meals, and 1 shower per day) at a con, but it’s doubly important during cold and flu season.

In addition to these guidelines, you should get a flu shot if you haven?t already. It?s not too late, and they are still widely available at most pharmacies and doctors? offices. Getting vaccinated is quick and simple, and those few minutes could save you and those around you from days or even weeks of misery.
